Can Blood In Urine Affect Pregnancy Test Results?

I took a 3 postive prego test on monday 5/23/11 and i was due to get my period on wednesday 5/25/11 and wednesday around 7pm i started to bleed and didnt stop bleeding until saturday 5/28/11. I took a preggo test Friday and Saturday and they were super light lines barley there nothing like the ones i took monday. Can the blood in my urine affect the test and could i still be preggo????

Well, I can say that the blood in your urine will not affect the results of a pregnancy test, however the fact that you bled clots and that the lines got lighter suggest you may have had an early miscarriage. I would see a GYN doctor who can test your blood for pregnancy, which is more accurate than the urine test. The hormone level will tell the doctor and you if you are still pregnant, which is still a possibility. I hope this advice was helpful and answered your question.
