Can Blood Pressure Medication Be Taken Along With Pristiq?

I have begun taking Pristiq (depression medication) and am in to my second week of 50 mg. My blood pressure (which is usually in normal range) has risen (and remains in the range of) 153/95. Can I take a blood pressure medication in conjunction with the Pristiq, and if so, which BP med would you recommend?
