Can Body Ache And Weight Gain Be Caused By Sleep Apnea?
My husband was just diagnosed with low t & is going thru tests for sleep apnea. Formonths he has complained of body aches, low energy, weight gain, etc...recently the aches have gotten a lot worse & he is running a low grade temp. Can all of this be caused by low t and or sleep apnea? He is 35, 5' 10" & weighs 240 now. He has lost about 8 lbs recently from nnot feeling well. He gets HA's a lot & jokes about a brain tumor but will not talk with his MD about it...please help.
Hi Thank you for posting question. Yes. Person with sleep apnoea is likely to suffer from metabolic syndrome including Weight gain, diabetes, hyperchpolesterolemia etc. Sleep disturbance and poor concentration, sadness, bodyache could be associated findings.
