Can Bowel Cleaning Pills Be Used Instead Of Colonoscopy Preparation Liquid?
I have symptoms of colon cancer, but I simply can not drink the drink for prep. Is there an alternate to the drink. For ex., several years ago, I had repeated IBS attacks and my gastroenterologist gave me a prescription for pills. I took them for 4 days before I realized the worst IBS attacks I ever had were from the pills. Believe me, they cleaned me out. With such pills and the liquid diet prescribed prior to a colonoscopy, wouldn t this work to allow me to get a colonoscopy.

I really appreciate your concern, the medicine that might have been given to you could be laxative but here the liquid preparation could be a dye and you have to take this for better diagnosis and study of intestine, no alternative is there for this, hope this information helps.
