Can Bp Pills Cause.increase Lichen Planus?

Hi! I take 100 mg of atenolol and I have been diagnose with lichen plan us of the scalp and I am getting the bold spots. I am really concerned and heard that high blood pressure pills can give you this lichen planus. Can I ask my doctor to discontinue the use of this pill and change it for another to see if this stops?
