Can Brain Dead Person Have Eye Movements And Tears In Eyes?

i just found out my friend over dosed on drugs and the doctors say she is brain dead. i went to see her today and her eyes are dilated but eye has eyes movement. she kept looking around and at one point i thought i saw a tear hen i was talking to her. is she really brain dead?
