Hello, I had bi-lateral breast cancer removed in 2002. I ve had nothing since. But all of a sudden my arms turned beet red, throbbing and painful. Also itched. Lost my appatite and 100 ibs. I was eating whatever I wanted. Here we are ten months later, the red is turning pink, and I oticed what was white, looked like l.nodes. Now they are swollen. Sunday the one in elbow area looks like it burst or something. It turned all purple and blue during the night and it hurts. Can it be from my breast cancer?WELL, THANKS ANYWAY. WAS TOLD ANYONE WANTING YOU TO PAY FOR AN ANSWER, ESPECIALLY IF IT COULD HAVE TO WITH YOUR LIFE, ISN T TRYING TO HELP YOU, TRYING TO MAKE MONEY.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Breast cancer can cause a blockage of lymph drainage which can lead to a swelling in the arm. The loss of appetite is also a symptom of cancer. You need to attend an ER for proper treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
