Can Brown Blood In Discharge Be Signs Of Pregnancy?
I've been on the pill for years and have been having my period every other month. I took two more weeks worth of pills to delay my period more. On the third week I had brown blood, enough to put in a tampon for. I switched to taking the inactive pills two days in and my period seemed to start regularly a day later. ive seen things online that say maybe pregnant and I'm really worried.
Hi, The possibility of pregnancy is less here considering the point that you have been continuously using the pills. The discharge is more likely to be due to some breakthrough bleeding as the excess endometrial thickness that may have occurred due to unopposed activity sheds when the vascular supply becomes insufficient. You can test for pregnancy through estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres and also follow it up with a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation. Please do not worry; get help from an expert for further management. Take care.
