Can Brown Discharge After Having Interourse Be A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hi, January 25, I had my period and my period ended January 28, After two days, on January 31, I had pink blood then later on turn to brown discharge and cramps. Today I have light brown discharge. I pretty much rule out the idea of pregnancy because the last time I had sexual intercourse was January 1, From my understanding this is normal but I have cramps. So what else could it be.. Thank you.
Hello, Since you had a normal menstrual period after the intercourse, pregnancy is ruled out. In the current scenario, you need to see a specialist for a proper clinical evaluation to exclude local causes like vaginitis, cervicitis, polyps, endometritis, infection and inflammation of the pelvic appendages, hormone disturbances, general infections, sudden weight changes and stress apart from drug interactions. A trans-vaginal sonogram, blood counts, urinalysis and hormone profile if needed should be done. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
