Can Brown Discharge Be From Taking Plan B Or Early Sign Of Pregnancy After Unprotected Sex?

I am on birth control and had unprotected sex while on my period. He did not pull out. My period stopped about 2 days early so I went and took plan b about 48 hours after the unprotected sex. Now a week later I m having dark brown discharge. Is this from the plan b or could it be a sign of pregency?

The reasons why pregnancy is incredibly unlikely include:
1. You had intercourse during a relatively non-fertile point in your cycle
2. You took PlanB appropriately

It is normal to have some breakthrough bleeding and brown discharge after taking this medication. The other effect that you might notice is a delay in ovulation, which means a delay in your next period. Make sure that you check a pregnancy test in about 2-3 weeks and use backup protection until you get your next period.

intercourse during period will not lead to pregnancy as it is not fertile period.
The Brown discharge may be due to the hormone irregularity caused by high dose progesterone in the pill.
