Can Brown Spotting Be Side Effect Of Irregular Birth Control Intake?

I missed some of my birth control pills so I doubled up on them...now 5 days before I am supposed to start and i had 2 days of pink spotting and now it is brown but only when I wipe...Please give me some insight on if this is just my hormones or could I be pregnant???

Hi,

Contraceptive pills need to be taken regularly as directed taken at fixed time of the day. In case you have taken them irregularly and have doubled the dose to finish the pack in time. There is possibility of conception. Pregnancy can be diagnosed or excluded by home pregnancy test after 8 days delay in periods. Please consult your doctor with test report.
