Can Bulimia Cause Degenerative Disc Disease At Old Age?

Hello,
Is it possible that bulimia can cause degenerative disc disease in your older years? I was a very active bulimic from age 12 to age 21. I am 46 and looking at my 4th neck surgery. Otherwise, I am healthy. NO diabetes, no high blood pressure, or anything else that would contribute to my spinal surgeries. Could there be a link?
Thank you, My email is
