Can Bumps In Pubic Area Be A Cyst Or A Blister?

I have developed 3 bumps on my pubic area. They haven t had a head. I think they could be an ingrown hair but this morning I had a knot on my labia majora with a head the size of a pin. I squeezed it and blood came out, but the knot is still there. Could this be a cyst or a developing blister (herpes)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to folliculitis which is an inflammation of the hair follicles. I suggest to clean the are with hydrogen peroxide and cover it with an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream. I also recommend to maintain a good hygiene.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
