Can Carrying Heavy Baggage Cause Numbness In Arm And Headaches?

I had an episode of headache, visual disturbance and left hand forearm numbness, This occured 3 days after a trip where I was carrying a large carry-on bag with shoulder strap. The CT scan done 3 weeks later showed no abnoormality except some narrowing consistant with my age(68). However it showed I have cervical ribs. What are the implications?
