Namaskar I am 42yr 5 8 71kg. I am active,doing exercise daily. Since last 4 months i am feeling pain in my both knees specially when climing stairs, standing from chair and when sitting on floor. After consullting dr. mild osteoarthritis have been detected in both knees on the basis of x ray interpretation. Allopathic analgesics suppements and other drugs continue since one month.no satisfactory feeling. Please suggest the proper treatment. Is cartilage damage repairable in knee OA. Hello sir, Good morning... I read your history in which you mentioned that you are already diagnosed as O.A n continue treatment for that on some analgesics n other drugs... Sir general protocol for OA is analgesics drugs n if much deformity n disability than at last knee replacement but generally knee replacement is delayed as possible as much... So I think you are right path for treatment of O.A still you don't get releif than reason is 1.) either analgesic drug dose is less 2.) or you are not taking drug regularly...
But we assume that you are taking drugs regularly than only reason for your pain is less dose So please consult your orthopedic doctor he increase or change analgesic that can help in pain n
Doctor also ll do x ray again n possibility for knee replacemenr or not... Thank you..
