Can Cayenne Pepper Pills Be Taken While Suffering From IBS?

I have had prostate surgery and radiation. My PSA is still under 1 but has increased very slowly over the last few years and is now 0.55. My radiologist has suggested cayenne pepper pills an tomato paste. I have IBS that is under control but I am very concerned that these pills will cause the IBS to start again. What is your opinion.thank you
