Hello and wellcome to HCM. I carefully read your question. I understand your concern.
In fact you have a
high cholesterol level for someone who is taking medicines but don't worry because you can get to normal range.
In fackt a lot of people doesn"t know that fruit juices contain a high percent of sugar. This sugar is a form of
carbohydrate that is metabolized in you organizem rising you
triglyceride levels and than your cholesterol. So you need to know that excessive consumption of cherry juice can rise your triglycerides and your cholesterol. There is no interaction between your medications and cherry juice but this consumtion every day can interfere in your lipid levels.
So, if i was your treating doctor i would say that we have to low your cholesterol levels beginning with some lifestyle modifications. I will recommend you to avoid or limit for the moment:
1.Dried sugar fruits
2.Cookies and pies
3.Jams and syrups and excessive consumption of fruit juices and allsow avoid foods with high cholesterol
I will recommend to eat vegetables and begin physical activity, 30-40 minutes walking every day.
If we don't low your levels after 2 months we can think of rising your medicine doses.
I hope i was helpful. Wish you good health
