Can Chlamydia Be A Cause Of Delayed Period?
Hi so my boyfriend was told by his doctor 2 days ago that he has chlamydia , I m getting check by my doctor tomorrow in order to see if I too have chlamydia and have to get it treated, but my question is can chlamydia be a cause of a delay period? Because Its been 14 days since I was sopposed to get my period yet it hasn t come, supposing I do have chlamydia, can that be the cause of my missing period?

To answer you question, Chlamydia cannot cause a delayed period. I think you missed period is either because you have become pregnant or due to another reason. It is better to wait it out for another week and get a urine pregnancy test done. Also consult an obstetrician to find out if there is a cure for chlamydia since it would help with your sexual hygiene.
