Can Chronic Sinusitis Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Throat?

Can reoccurring sinus infections cause swelling of the lymph tissue in the throat? I had my tonsils and adenoids removed last November because I was always sick and I m STILL always sick. I can t even run on a tred mill anymore with my my nose building up with tons of mucus. It s gross and my throat keeps doing this every 2-3 weeks. My ENT wants to do an allergy test to see if I m allergic to something that s causing the lymph tissue in my throat to become inflamed. Someone please advise!
