Can Combination Of Antidepressants And Alcohol Cause Long Sleeps?

I have been on the generic for neurotonin for a coulple of months. I take 600 mg for spinal stenosis. I have recently changed my antidepressant from effexor to lexapro. I have been on lexapro for about one month. I drink beer at night. Have for years, but now I feel so very tired - just in the last month. Have to get at least 10 to 12 hours of sleep at night. I am 62. Is it the combination of the drugs and alcohol. If it was, you think it would wear off during the day. It doesn t. Tired all day long. Please advise.

HI
Well come to HCM
It is not good idea to have the alcohol and antidepressant altogether because alcohol increase the effects of antidepressant and this could be harmful for vital organs, particularly for hepatic cells, hope this helps take care.
