Can Congestion And Post Nasal Drip Cause Vomiting In A Child?

Hello, My daughter woke up vomiting two times this morning with a stomach ache. After she vomited she felt better. The past few days she has been congested but not bad. Do you think it is a stomach virus that caused her to vomit? Or did she vomit from the congestion and post nasal drip?

Hello,

Having congestion and post nasal drip can cause you vomiting and cough. Take antihistamines such citerizine or decongestants such pseudoephedrine to help relieve congestion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
