Can Consuming Sulfa To Treat Eye Infection Cause Allergic Reaction In Body Leading To UTI And Undue Bleeding?

I am 40. I have had one live birth, and no other pregnancies. My tubes are tied. My period was about 4 days late, and resulted in vaginal bleeding for 16 days straight. My usual cycle is 5 days. I've also developed a UTI (which is not unusual for me) in the past few days. I've only had occasional mild discomfort in the uterus area, and the bleeding is not particularly heavy. I had an eye infection the first of November that a doctor prescribed eye drops with sulfa that caused an allergic reaction. It took two rounds of antibiotics, and about three weeks to get over the infection. The first was eurythromician; the second of which was moxifloxin.

Hi. All the antibiotics you mentioned are not known to cause excessive bleeding or UTI , Indeed they will help to control UTI. Eye drops of sulpha will cause only local reaction. Oral sulpha is know to cause black spots on the body which itch.
