Can Contraceptive Pills Cause Cystitis?

Ive been on Yasim for 2 months and ive had cystitis twice now. I suffered from cystitis when i was on the pill 4 years ago but it stopped when i went on the coil (no hormonal). im now back on the pill and it seems to give my cystitis symptoms, is it the pill thats causing all of this? ive also been itching all over.
