Can Cylindrical Power In One Eye Of A Child Be Corrected With Exercise?

Respected Doctor my son is 6 years old in school they conducted eye camp and they told he is having problem in eye and i showed to dr and confirmed and he is having cylindrical power -2 in right eye onlyand he suggested to go for glass .i want to know is this canbe corrected by any exercises or anyother methods.
