Can Damaged ACL And PCL Due To Dislocated Knee Be Healed Without Surgery?

Hi there,

I dislocated my knee and knee cap 9 weeks ago damaging my MCL, ACL & PCL I had the surgery 8 weeks ago to repair the MCL to which they told me that in 6-8 weeks time they would repair the ACL & PCL, But I went back yesterday to see the surgeon to find out when the surgery was going to take place, The surgeon examined my knee with different movements and x-rays. He then informed me I don't need any surgery that the scar tissue build up had formed a capsule replacing the ligaments he then told me I can start the rehab etc to start walking again..........Is this right can this happen without surgery or should I question it???
