Can Decreased Blood Supply Lead To Foul Smell In The Affected Area?

Doctor my mother who is 91 years old has been sleeping on one side that is left side. Now there is no blood supply on her left leg below knee it s dead i am applying cream written by doctor. now there is a foul smell. How do i take care so that she remains stable ?

This may indicate gangrene and urgent surgery is required to prevent sepsis and other complications. No cream can help if there is no circulation in leg so you should not take risk,she should see vascular surgeon.
