Can dehydration cause hCG levels to drop ????? I am 6 weeks today and my levels dropped to 436 as of Monday Friday it was some where in the 1000 I m just wondering is there any possibility of my baby still being alive I go in for another check up in 2 weeks but honestly I am impatient

Hello user, the best test to do to see the viability of fetus is by doing a ultrasonography test to see the heart activities of fetus, which starts appearing at approx 3 weeks pregnancy.

You are hereby adviced to have a tranvaginal or transabdominal sonography done.
