Can Delay In Periods Be Due To Pregnancy?

hi. i took postinor on 5th July immediately after sex although my BF did not ejaculate in me. i had some light spotting for 2 days around one and half weeks after the taking the pill. my period is very late as my last period ended on 26th/27th. am i pregnant??????? thanks for answering.

Hi,I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Prostinor 2 is emergency contraceptive pill. Usually there is a proper bleeding within7-10 days of its intake.
Since you only had spotting, it can be due to poor effect.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done and if positive, then do consult an OBGYN specialist for further management.
If negative, it can be due to effect of prostinor, as it is known to delay the periods by 2-3 weeks.
