Can Delay In Periods Be Due To Pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex about a month ago but it was only for about a minute and he wasn't even about to come, I'm worried cause I haven't gotten my period yet. Im also very active on sports. is it just because I missed my period because I'm active almost every day or pregnancy?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Delay in periods can occur due to different causes.
If you had unprotected intercourse around the period of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy.
Sometimes preejaculate fluid can contain few spermatozoa.
Strenuous activity can also cause menstrual irregularity by leading to hormonal imbalance.
So, without doing confirmatory test we cannot come to one conclusion.
Go for urine test once.
If the test gives negative result, consult gynecologist and take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
Take care.
