Can Delay In Periods Cause Pregnancy?

20 yr old female, 5 foot, around 9 stone, I have been on Cerazette for about 3 months, and my periods have still come quite regularly, although lighter - however my period for this month is now 5 days late - I didn't miss any pills, maybe taken one slightly later than I usually do - how possible is pregnancy ?

Cerazette tablets must be taken continuously, at the same time every day, for them to be effective at preventing pregnancy. If you are more than 12 hours late taking your pill, you will not be protected against pregnancy.
If this happens, you should use an extra barrier method of contraception, eg condoms, for the next two days, while continuing with your normal pill taking.
So,i would suggest you to confirm that you are pregnant or not from urine pregnancy test.
