Can Dengue Fever Delay Menstruation?
Hello I had dengue fever last month on 26 august, my menstrual cycle is of 32 days. With this cycle i should have got my periods on 29 September, but it didn t happen and even i checked for pregnancy it is also negative. Whether dengue will hamper menstrual cycle?

Yes,it may be possible that you have delayed periods because of dengue viral fever.
I hope you have take proper treatment with all the necessary symptomatic medications.
And your blood counts would be within normal limits.
I expect that your periods would resume within couple of days of completing the treatment.
If not,then it would be advisable to see gynecologist.
