Can Dental Medication Cause A Delayed Period?

I usually get regular periods but this time delayed by 5 days. Till now not got my periods. I have a 9 months old baby. I had taken medicine from dendist for molar teeth removal for 5 days. Will that be the reason? I tested using pregnancy kit on 5 th day morning, but found negative. Please expecting an answer
