Can Dental Procedures For Teeth Removal Cause A Heart Attack?
My mother recently had a friend, age 59 pass away from a heart attack. She had recieved a dental procedure days before in which all her teeth were removed to make room for implant teeth. My mother thinks this operation had something to do with her death. However, she was obsese and I believe had diabetes. Could a dental procedure cause this to happen? I am now fearful about having one myself.
The main side effect of dental procedure on heart is that it can cause endocarditis if there is a serious valve problem, but usually it can't cuase heart attack. Smoking, obesety, heredity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol levels, unhealthy lifestyle are the factors, that can lead to hear attack.
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
