Can Depression And Stress Lead To Bipolar Disorder?

hi, I need some answers on bad depression and bad stress that I think is having me lead to bipolar. my real mom had it so I know the signs but I just want to make extra sure of it so I cam here. can you help me try to figure out if I have bipolar or if im getting very close to it with the depression n stress???

Bipolar disorder is a condition that can occur to anybody. It is more common in those who have family history and adverse social circumstances as in your case.

Stress alone generally do not cause bipolar but you are predisposed than there is almost 15-20% risk of developing bipolar disorder.

Having depression with family history of bipolar disorder is a significant risk factor for development of bipolar.
