My mom has a thryroid problem. I recently saw my gyno and she checked my neck. She has given me a refferal twice to get an ultrasound done, but i never went. I recently made an appointment to get an ultrasound done for my thyroids. My neck seems to be swollen all the time and sometimetimes I have difficulty swallowing, could this be a thyoid problem?
This could be due to a thyroid swelling which may press on your esophagus and may produce difficulty in swallowing.
I suggest you to do an ultrasound neck at the earliest which will clear your doubts.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
