Can Distal Phalanx Be Fractured Due To The Epipen Needle?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my wife injected an epipen into her thumb, I had to pull the needle out, it was bent like a fish-hook, not too worried about the adrenalin aspect, more that she hit the bone... could it have fractured the distal phalange?
