Can Dizziness And Sweating Be Caused By Walking Quickly?

I m 62 years old, came home last evening felt dizzy. Went to bed about 6:30 pm, when I opened by eyes next I felt dizzy. This morning, I m sweating and just a little dizzy on standing. My question is could this be related to moving too quickly, when raising my head?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is due to severe exhaustion due to quick walking. Generally, it will settle once you take rest.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. In that case, cardiac causes must be ruled out and you might require an echo test as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
