Can Dried Blood Cause The Wound To Come Back?

Hello, my name is Hannah Clark. Two days ago I cut my big toe on a piece of old metal in our back yard. I applied, and re-applied antibiotic cream, but the wound started turning black. Could it just be the shade of the dried blood, or should I be worried. Thank you!

Your symptoms seem to be related to dried blood.

I suggest ti clean the wound with hydrogen peroxide before applying the antibiotic cream.
