Can Duphaston Be Taken If Periods Are Getting Delayed?

Hi, i would like to ask about my irregular mensuration after Wedding (9 months ago). for the past 3 cycles, it is getting delayed & consulted a Doctor & has been prescribed with a tablet named "Duphaston" for 7 days (2 per day). Again now got delayed for around 50 Days. Is it advisable to have the same tablet for Mensuration cycle.
