Can Duphston Reduce Chance Of Conception?

My period was 2 weeks late so I took a hpt and it was positive but 2 days later I got my period though not so heavy. My Obgy prescribed duphaston from when my period started. What if that was my real period and I have started taking duphaston. Will it affect my chances of concieving asap?
