Can Ear Ring Stuck In The Ear Cause Headaches?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... About two years ago my earing went inside my ear and I went to the e.r and they said they couldn t see anything. But when I would shake my head I could hear something moving. I couldnt wait for a cat scan because my son was at home. But ever sence then I get headachs everyday! Is it possible my earring made it inside my head and causing these headaches?

Hello,
You have a history of your earrings going inside your ears. You had it inspected at ER, but they could not see anything. You did not have a cat scan done. Presently, You have headache and when you shake your head you can feel something moving. Yes, any foreign body stuck in the ear can cause headache and other complications like brain infection, dizziness, etc.
Sometimes foreign body cannot be seen through otoscope if it embedded in the middle or inner ear. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, if it can be seen by an otoscope it will be removed if not you will be recommended to get CT / MRI done. You will be managed and treated accordingly. Get treated at the earliest. Neglect will result in complications that can be life threatening. Stay well hydrated & avoid stress.
