Can Eating Banana Or Nuts Cause Red Dry Patches On Scalp/torso?

scalp and torso has red patches dry and only slightly itchy. It has spread on my back. I wondered if eating too many bananas or nuts could cause. It started on scalp months ago then started in a few spots on front not a lot on my back. Over the counter cream worked a little but then it spread.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is Seborrheic dermatitis which is also commonly known as dandruff. It is not related in anyway to eatingredients banana or nuts.Antifungal shampoos containing ketoconazole can be used twice a week for the same.Consult your dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.Regards
