Can Eating Sweets Cause Acute Bronchitis In A Toddler?

My 3 year old son has acute bronchitis ( had rapid breathing with wheezing) for the first time.. He is on nebulizer with levolin ( every 4 hours) and budecort (every 12 hours). My question 1) is it possible that congestion could be the result of eating sweets (made of pure milk) that he had the previous day..if yes, will the treatment be different in this case? 2) is it true that children that have bronchitis will have that multiple times in childhood and can have asthma when young..

Hi
Thanks for writing to Health care magic.
It is very smart question. Consumption lots of sweets can cause allergy in infants and kids. But it is trigger factors. Sweets contains some flavours, conservatives. It is usually eaten too much by children. During treatment follow hypoallergenic diet(avoid chocolate, cocoa, nuts, oranges, tomato soup, seafood, etc). If baby has 4 times bronchitis in a year i t can lead to bronchial asthma.
I hope my answer will be helpful.
Wishing your baby speedy recovery.
