I an electrical current from the stairs outside my apartment clinch my hand to the rail, travel up my arm, in through my right toes, then left foot and up just past my knees. It was quick and I was very disoriented, but able to gather myself. Three days later I was rushed to er. Legs and feet swollen beyond belief, severe pain, talking out of my head. I was diagnosed with Rhabdomylosis, admitted immediately. My kidneys were shutting down. My com was extremely high. Could the electric shock have been the cause?

Yes, Rhabdomyolysis can occur after electric shock. term rhabdomyolysis is when your muscle lyses due to passing of electric current. it releases in to blood circulation. it do not filtered and get clogged in to kidney causes decreases in kidney function. ultimately lead to renal shutdown.
