Can Endometriosis Treatment Be Related To Extended Menstruation?

I have been experiencing a period while on continuous birth control. I have been on birth control for 4 years now and started the continuous back in February. I also had a Laparoscopy about 2 months ago for my Endometriosis. I m concerned because I have had a period for about a week and a half now. I have taken my birth control pill more regular than I ever have so I don t understand. I though about taking like a three day break from the pill then getting back on it so my body can reset itself. But I am not sure if my body has just gotten used to the dosage level or what. I need to know whats going on because its really worrying me.
