Can Epidural For Surgery Cause Hot Flushes And Breathing Problem?

Just had a operation on ankel. They using epidural for the operation. due to me having large thyroid gland (goiter). I am also going thought the memopause aswell. With full symptoms ( hot flushes etc). My Tonge dry all day but more so when having the hot flushes. Even with out the hot flushes I am still gasping for air (i can not breath) Also I feel like I am going to pass out I am having no sleep and had to use a fan over my head to help me to breath and cool down.

With the epidural would this had made my Goiter worse. I have never suffered this bad before.
