Hello,
I have gone through your query ad understood the concern. Your AFI is mildly excess. Since the fetal parameters are corresponding to the gestational age, there is no need to worry. Also, fetal anomalies like esophageal malformations may have been ruled out. During this phase of the pregnancy, the amniotic fluid content is at its highest. Moreover, due to fetal movements, most often there is a loop of the umbilical cord around the neck. This is not harmful unless it gets tightened or persists well into labor, when close monitoring is needed. Take adequate rest preferably in left lateral position. Wish you safe motherhood.
