Can Excessive Crying Damage My Eye-sight?

My right eye was operated for retinal detachment (cryo-buckle) 2 weeks ago. Can excessive crying damage my eye-sight? It is sometimes very difficult for me to stop crying, I can cry a lot and often. Can also stress damage my eyesight? THANK YOU for your help.

Hello
Excessive crying can cause watering of eyes, redness of eyes but it will not lead to damage to eye sight.
Since you have undergone eye surgery for retinal detachment you should avoid rubbing of eyes which can damage your eyes.
Otherwise crying by itself may not cause any damage to eye sight.

Thank you
