Can Excessive Intake Of Sugary Sweets Kick A Person Into Hypoglycemia?
The last couple of weeks, every so often, I suddenly have a feeling of severe nausea and then I start sweating profusely, all over. It lasts for about 10 to 15 minutes. I have no pain associated with it. No chest pain or discomfort, no arm pain and no shortness of breath. Lately, I have been a craving for candy and sweets that I haven t ignored. I do have a history of having a CABG x3. As of my last blood testing, I am not diabetic. Can an excessive intake of sugary sweets kick a person into hypoglycemia?
* Excess intake of sugary sweets do not pausehypoglycemia attacks, but as there is history of sweating profusely with such instance, there is strong possibility of endocrine disorder in terms of adrenal insufficiency of some sort (as primary or secondary one).
Kindly make an appointment with an expert endocrinologist to proceed for looking into the matter.
Hope this piece of information will prove useful in your case.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
