Can Fertility Drugs Cause A Delay In Menstruation?

I have pcos and my right tube is blocked. I took clombipure50 from day 3 to 7 and also hmg150iu on day 5,7 &9. On 15th day i was given hgc shot. Now today it is my day 38, but no periods. I have not conducted test. I want to know, whether with all the above fertility drug my period may delay in case i am not pregnant.

Hello,

Hormonal imbalances, such as those caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome or follicular cysts can make you miss your period. Stress, hormonal birth control, excessive exercise, malnutrition, breastfeeding, chronic diseases, and certain drugs can all cause you to miss a period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
